Blue Mountains Weekend
September 20–21
16 girls. 2 hikes. Endless laughs.
We’re taking Cool Girls Club off-grid for a weekend of fresh air, campfire chats, and trails that’ll make your jaw drop. Think bush camping under the stars, incredible Blue Mountains views, and a crew of adventurous women who feel like instant friends.
The plan
We’ll meet in Katoomba and hop on the bus to our base for the weekend – Murphy’s Glen Campground. It’s a tucked-away bush site with limited amenities (drop toilets, no showers, no drinking water – just how nature intended).
From there, it’s two days of adventure:
Saturday September 20: Depart Katoomba Station at 9am for Blackheath, to walk the iconic Grand Canyon Track. This moderate 3-hour loop winds through lush rainforest, sandstone cliffs, and fern-filled gullies. After the hike, we’ll make our way to Murphy’s Glen campground—our peaceful bush base for the night. The afternoon is all about settling in, enjoying a catered afternoon tea, then relaxing around the fire with a hearty dinner and dessert.
Sunday September 21: Start the day with a catered breakfast and hot drinks before hitting the Murphy’s Glen to Bedford Creek Trail. This quiet, scenic walk offers a true sense of wilderness and takes around 3 hours at a relaxed pace. We’ll finish with a catered lunch before returning to Katoomba for a 2pm drop-off.
